The new Multivac G 700 is a traysealer dedicated to the ready meal and fresh produce market. As these industries have varying demands and requirements on machine handling applications, Multivac have designed the new traysealer with the obligations of hygienic design and convenience in mind. The machine is not only compatible with tray denesters and various inferred systems but is constructed using compact stainless steel, meeting highest quality security standards. The G 700 has been equipped with an intuitive user interface for a high degree of process reliability and a high level of ergonomic operating convenience. The machine is characterised by its high cycle output, achieving cycle rates of up to 15 cycles per minute with modified atmosphere.

Depending on the product to be packed, the G 700 can produce tray packs with or without a modified atmosphere. When producing packs with modified atmosphere, the G 700 uses gas purging of the trays. There is no requirement to evacuate them. This means that the packaging procedure is gentler and can even be used for delicate food products. It is therefore possible to pack crumbly products or those ready-meal components which are hot filled, in a consistent and reliable way.

In addition to plastic trays, the G 700 can also run trays made of aluminium or board, multi-chamber trays and those with a wide variety of shapes. The G 700 has a precise and reliable tray transport system, which ensures that the trays are transported very gently. Therefore, the dies can be changed both simply and quickly.

Multivac will be unveiling the new G 700 traysealer in Australia at stand I30 on Level 4 of foodpro 2017 at the exhibition building at the ICC Sydney from 16 – 19 July. Read more about Multivac.
