Important Announcement – foodpro to return in 2021 at the Sydney Showground
Following the recent postponement of foodpro 2020 due to the Government legislation on social distancing and travel restrictions, and after many weeks of talking to the industry and consulting with our partners, we are pleased to announce that foodpro will now take place from 25 to 28 July 2021 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
We have been committed to finding a solution to deliver an event to ensure business continuity to the food manufacturing and processing industry. Our continued aim is to provide a platform for the industry to grow, learn and conduct business safely, and with limited Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre availability we believe temporarily relocating foodpro 2021 to the Sydney Showground is in the best interests of our community.
For more than 50 years foodpro has been bringing together the food manufacturing and processing industry and has established a strong community of exhibitors, partners, visitors that are at the forefront of the brand. We will look to adapt and introduce new opportunities for connection over the coming months bringing together suppliers and buyers in the industry.
In these unprecedented times we have seen the industry show strength, resilience and innovation as domestic food manufacturing and processing demands increase and change. The strength of this community will persevere beyond the current situation.
foodpro will return to its scheduled rotation in 2023, in the meantime we look forward to foodpro 2021 providing a platform for you to re-establish ties with each other and uniting the industry towards a more sustainable world.

Important Announcement – foodpro 2020 postponed to 2021
After many weeks of monitoring the evolving situation around coronvirus (COVID-19), talking to the industry and consulting with our partners, we have made the difficult decision to postpone foodpro 2020. Originally scheduled to run from 5-8 July, 2020, the event will now take place in 2021.
We put our customers at the heart of what we do, and this decision has been particularly difficult due to the importance of this event to our industry. However following the recent Government advice on social distancing, travel restrictions, and the logistics required before the event, postponement is unavoidable. The success, as well as the safety, of our exhibitors and visitors, has always been our priority and this continues to be the case.
Please look out for important follow up communications from Diversified Communications and vendors that will include logistical details resulting from this postponement. We are committed to supporting the food manufacturing and processing industry and our customers by offering the option to credit any deposits towards foodpro 2021.
We fully understand and appreciate the level of planning that is required to attend foodpro and would like to thank you – our exhibitors, speakers, partners, visitors, and the venue for your continued support and patience during this difficult time.
For more than 50 years foodpro has been bringing together the food manufacturing and processing industry and we will continue to support our community long into the future.
