Working for CSIRO for 20+ years and currently positioned in the Food Program of the Agriculture and Food Business Unit. For the last 5-10years has been working with Traditional Owner groups in Victoria to help them realise their aspirations around Indigenous food sovereignty and to blend Western Science through nutritional composition profiling, with Traditional Ecological knowledge. Through some of this work, Cheryl was approached by Black Duck Foods to work with them as their Research Manager, and has been with them on a part time basis for almost 18months. This presentation will highlight some key partnerships with organisations like Black Duck Foods and some of the exciting foods and ingredients that they are exploring with CSIRO.
