2021 Event Update
foodpro officially cancelled in 2021
With the COVID-19 situation across the nation and particularly in Sydney unfolding rapidly together with the expansion of the lockdowns in multiple cities, we have made the difficult decision to cancel foodpro 2021, scheduled to run 10-13 October 2021.
Read the official statement here.
Why did foodpro 2021 get cancelled?
foodpro aims to bring together Australia’s entire food manufacturing community, connecting exhibitors and visitors from across Australia. It’s important to us that we can sustain a high standard of event delivery so without continued certainty around borders remaining open we have made the tough call not to run this year.
What are the next show dates?
foodpro will run 23-26 July 2023 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
I’m an exhibitor and/or sponsor, can I expect a refund?

We are here to redefine how we as an industry think about food and reunite to do business that will lead us towards a more sustainable world. foodpro is about creating, together.

It is not our company policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on applying for a Visa visit the Department of Immigration website.
Can I bring my children?
As this is a business event for those people working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry and contractors servicing these industries, we ask visitors to not bring anyone under the age of 16 to the show. This is for their own safety as there is heavy machinery in operation on the show floor. Proof of age or industry involvement may be requested at the door. Tertiary students with valid student ID will be admitted. Due to OH&S, prams, strollers and trolleys (ie shopping trolleys) are strictly not permitted at the event. Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during the setting up and disassembling of the show.
Can students attend?
Students enrolled at a tertiary level or registered apprentices may attend the show if they have the appropriate student identity card. All students will need to register online. Primary and Secondary school students will not be admitted, regardless of any courses they are studying.
Students must be mindful that foodpro is a business event and as such need to be respectful of Exhibitors and their time. Exhibitors are present to engage in business conversations. Please be considerate of their time and of any promotional material available.
Will I need to bring identification with me?
Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance, and can include:

What do I do if someone tries to sell me the foodpro databases and visitor lists?
This is a scam and you should ignore them. foodpro operates under strict data privacy laws, and we do not share our visitor or any other internal data with unauthorised third parties.
Any communication you may receive offering you to rent/buy or download our visitor or exhibitor contacts is a scam and should be deleted. We are currently exploring legal avenues to shut down these practices.
