Event Update

After many weeks of monitoring the evolving situation around Government legislation and travel restrictions as well as the temporary closure of the venue, talking to the industry and consulting with our partners, we have made the difficult decision that foodpro 2020 will no longer take place on 5-8 July 2020 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centrefoopro will next take place from 25-28 July 2021 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

The success, as well as the safety, of our exhibitors, visitors and staff has always been our priority and this continues to be the case.

For more detailed information regarding the postponement, please read the full statement from Diversified Communications here.

With our strong commitment to finding a solution to deliver an event to ensure business continuity to the food manufacturing and processing industry and with Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s unavailability foodpro will next take place in 2021 in Sydney.

25-28 July 2021

Sydney Showground

Sydney Olympic Park

We made the decision to officially postponed foodpro 2020 in line with the advice and predictions from the Australian Government and temporary closure of the venue. foodpro and Diversified Communications Australia, are conscious of our responsibility to contribute to a reduction in the spread of the virus and we prioritise the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, partners and staff.

While we had hoped, and worked hard, to be able to secure a new date for the 2020 event in Q4 or into 2021, following industry feedback and limited venue availabilityit became clear that postponement was unavoidable.

It is our continued aim to provide a platform for the food manufacturing and processing industry to grow, learn and conduct business safely and with venue availability, we believe relocating 2021 to the Sydney Showground is in the best interests to restore business continuity for the community.

For all exhibitors and sponsors, who have transferred payments to Diversified for the 2020 event, we intend to comply with Exhibiting Terms and Conditions, which you can view here.
