What is foodpro?

For over 50 years, foodpro has gathered the industry to celebrate the contribution of Australian food produces, distributors and manufacturers. We are here to redefine how we as an industry think about food and reunite to do business that will lead us towards a more sustainable world. foodpro is about creating, together.

When and where is foodpro 2026?

foodpro will next take place from 26-29 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Where can I register?

Visitor registration will open next year. Subscribe to our mailing list to stay in the loop with event information, including being the first to know when registration opens.

Can you tell me who is exhibiting?

The exhibitor directory will be available closer to the event in 2026.

Do I need a visa for Australia?

Most visitors will require a Visa to enter Australia. Applications need to be made well in advance at the Australian Consulate in your own country or in some cases can be made online. It is not our company policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on applying for a Visa visit the Department of Immigration website.

Can I bring my children?

As this is a business event for those people working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry and contractors servicing these industries, we ask visitors to not bring anyone under the age of 16 to the show. This is for their own safety as there is heavy machinery in operation on the show floor. Proof of age or industry involvement may be requested at the door. Tertiary students with valid student ID will be admitted. Due to OH&S, prams, strollers and trolleys (i.e. shopping trolleys) are strictly not permitted at the event. Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during the setting up and disassembling of the show.

Can students attend?

Students enrolled at a tertiary level or registered apprentices may attend the show if they have the appropriate student identity card. All students will need to register online. Primary and Secondary school students will not be admitted, regardless of any courses they are studying.

Students must be mindful that foodpro is a business event and as such need to be respectful of Exhibitors and their time. Exhibitors are present to engage in business conversations. Please be considerate of their time and of any promotional material available.

Will I need to bring identification with me?

Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance, and can include:

  • A business card in your name; or
  • Employee verification on company letterhead;’ or
  • Evidence of membership of a relevant professional or industry association.
Who can attend?

foodpro is strictly a trade event for professionals working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry and contractors servicing these industries. Persons not in these industries, including children and students under the age of 16 will not be admitted.

How can I book a stand?

Stand bookings are now open for the 2026 event. To find out more about exhibiting, simply fill out an enquiry form, and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.

What do I do if someone tries to sell me the foodpro databases and visitor lists?

This is a scam and you should ignore them. foodpro operates under strict data privacy laws, and we do not share our visitor or any other internal data with unauthorised third parties.

Any communication you may receive offering you to rent/buy or download our visitor or exhibitor contacts is a scam and should be deleted. We are currently exploring legal avenues to shut down these practices.
