Southern Cross Station is a 15-minute walk to MCEC via Spencer Street.
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has a car park located within the Exhibition Centre. Additionally, there are secure car parks located in and around South Wharf including, South Wharf Retail Car Park, Siddeley Street Carpark, Freeway Carpark and Montague Street Carpark.
Bus route 238 operates to and from Southern Cross Station to Convention Centre Place between the hours of 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday. The pick-up/drop off point is coach bay 1, Convention Centre Place (closest to DFO South Wharf).
The average drive time from Melbourne airport to the MCEC is 20 minutes.
There are two pick-up/drop-off points at MCEC. They are at 1 Convention Centre Place or 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf. There are also two nearby taxi ranks – Crown, Clarendon Street and DFO, Convention Centre Place.
Tram routes 96, 109 and 12 (Stop 124A Casino/MCEC) will all take you to our Clarendon Street entrance. Otherwise, tram routes 70, 75 and the City Circle (Stop D5) take you to Flinders Street. From there, it’s just a short walk up Clarendon Street until you reach the venue.
